Nurses
Part-Time Practice Nurse (2 Days per Week) – Immediate start
Join Our Friendly and Patient-Focused General Practice
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis (2 days per week). This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working collaboratively in a supportive environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
About the Role
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will work closely with our General Practitioners, and administration staff to provide comprehensive nursing services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities

Chronic disease management and care planning support
-
Immunisations and vaccine management
-
Wound care and dressing changes
-
Health assessments and preventative health activities
-
Patient education and health promotion
-
Infection control and accreditation support
-
Stock management and clinical room preparation
-
Assisting GPs with procedures as required

Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential Requirements
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Experience working in General Practice or Primary Health Care

Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Current CPR certification
-
Proficiency with clinical software and electronic medical records
Desirable
-
Immunisation Certificate
-
Chronic Disease Management experience
-
Experience with Health Assessments and Care Plans
-
Knowledge of General Practice Accreditation Standards
