Dr Babak Farr

Dr Babak Farr completed his medical degree in Iran and spending some

time providing healthcare in under-resourced rural parts of the country, Dr Farr moved to Australia in 2008. He became a Fellow of Australian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine in 2015 and later completed his Fellowship in Pain Medicine in 2018.

In addition to public appointments as a Rehabilitation and Pain physician at Austin Health and Western Health, Dr Farr also provides patient-care in a number of private clinics such as Epworth Richmond, The Vic Rehab and North Eastern rehab centre.

Dr Farr appreciates “pain” as a subjective experience that must be recognised and treated within the frameworks of each patient’s personal experience. With that in mind he is interested in engaging patients in multidisciplinary approaches for management of their health-related problems and chronic disabilities. Dr Farr advocates for utilisation of active self-management strategies to improve function and quality of life by patients suffering from various chronic pain conditions. Please call GIGP to book an appointment today.

Colleen

Reception

After travelling around for most of her childhood, having lived in 6 different countries, and attending 6 different schools, Colleen is grateful to be back in Melbourne, her hometown, as she settles in for her medical school journey. She loves working at GIGP as it gives her insight into what running a private clinic would involve. When the sun comes out, you will see her at the beach or dream about going there.

Maddy

Reception

Originally from Queensland Maddy now calls Melbourne home (despite the terrible weather at times) When Maddy is not taking your phone calls or booking your next appointment you will find her knee deep in a bucket of freshly cut flowers, styling beautiful weddings and events all over Melbourne.
